With Unity

Blessed Unity of the People of God

Psalm 133 1Behold, how good and how pleasant it is

For brethren to dwell together in unity! 2It is like the precious oil upon the head,

Running down on the beard, The beard of Aaron,

Running down on the edge of his garments. 3 It is like the dew of Hermon,

Descending upon the mountains of Zion;

For there the Lord commanded the blessing — Life forevermore.

A Song of Ascents by David.

If Christians united, the Universal Church would be by far the largest community on the planet, roughly 2,400,000,000 souls, about a third of the world's population.

God is omnipresent, which means He is the whole of existence. Otherwise, there would be parts where God was not present. That makes us physically a part of Him. He loves us because we are physically a part of Him, "He is in us, and we are in Him." Can you imagine yourself not caring for your little toe? So how can you imagine Him not loving you?

Similarly, the environment the planetary ecosystem is just as much a part of God as we are.

So, if you claim to love God, how can you not love the environment? The whole ecosystem is the largest single organism on this planet. God's omnipresence makes it a part of God.

It needs our love and protection.

To solve global problems requires a Global community cooperating globally to solve problems we cannot solve on our own, resolving issues that are too big even for nations.

The Universal Church could be the nucleus of such a Global community. If you want to help make this Global community a reality, please send us an email by clicking here.
